I was born and bred in Johannesburg for 22 years of my life staying with my parents. I recently got married when the lockdown restrictions were eased. My husband was staying with his parents as well, so we decided to rent a property for ourselves to start the new journey together.
My husband’s workmate told him about Feel-at-Home Properties which is a a Muti-Million Rand Estate Agency registered at the Estate Agency Affairs Board. I googled on the internet and came across their website page which is www.feel-at-home.co.za. There were a number of properties available and was looking at the one that meet our needs specifically in Johannesburg.
I came across with a lovely spacious 2-Bedroom apartment to let in a tranquil residential area of Winchester Hills, Johannesburg.
This unit comprises of an open plan kitchen and lounge, with a sliding door leading to a spacious lovely patio. 2 Bedrooms with built in cupboards and tiled floors. The bedrooms were good enough when we have a visitor coming to sleep over. 1 bathroom with a bath, basin, toilet as well as a shower in the bath.
The balcony itself also presents with a refreshing stunning view and is also spacious to decorate with garden furniture to make it more beautiful. We loved the communal pool and braai stand that would entertain us at our own time and convenience mostly during weekends and holidays.
Nyata Lodge offers 1 undercover parking in front of the unit and was suitable for our only car we had at the moment. Nyata Lodge is well secured complex with access control that makes it more safe and secure.
The 2-bedroom apartment offers easy access to highways and major roads. This apartment is located very close to shopping centres, mosques, filling stations and the N12 highway.
Winchester Hills is an area in Johannesburg, South Africa. Winchester Hills lies on land that once made up the farm called Ormonde, one of many large farms that make what is Johannesburg and its suburbs. It is named after Winchester, Hampshire in the United Kingdom and the elevated land that the suburb lies upon.
Johannesburg informally known as Jozi, Joburg, or “The City of Gold”, is the largest city in South Africa, classified as a megacity, and is one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world. It is the provincial capital and largest city of Gauteng, which is the wealthiest province in South Africa.
Johannesburg is the seat of the Constitutional Court, the highest court in South Africa. Most of the major South African companies and banks have their head offices in Johannesburg. The city is located in the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills and is the centre of large-scale gold and diamond trade.
I would love to thank Feel-at-Home Properties that made it easier for us to choose our first home to rent and the lovely team that was helping us with all our questions. We really loved the place both in pictures and when we viewed the unit.
