My first rental home in Waboom Pierre van Ryneveld Centurion.

I have been staying with my family for almost twenty-seven years of my life in Cape Town. As a single mother with 1 child that is a baby girl I decide to move out and start my own life with my 7-year old girl far away from my family.

My area of interest was in Pretoria or Centurion because that is where most of my  close friends were staying. My siblings are the one’s who helped me find a place to rent in Centurion through Feel-at-Home Properties Facebook page.

The Feel-at-Home Properties Facebook page provides all necessary details that include available date, price, specific areas, short description of the property, website link as well as contact details.

I love the way Feel-at Home team operates. If you are not able to view the property in person for different reasons like I was still staying with my family in Cape Town there have another alternative that is cheaper, easier and cost effective. The booked me for a virtual tour of the property via WhatsApp video call at my most convenient ours.

This neat 2-bedroom unit is located in the well sought-after area of Pierre van Ryneveld. Within walking distance to shopping centre, gym, doctors’ rooms and many other necessities.

The 2 Bedroom Townhouse offers – 1 Main as well as 1 spare with built in cupboards. It was easy for me to pack my staff because of the availability of built in cupboards. It has 1 full Bathroom. Lovely open plan Kitchen, 1 x Lounge as well as 1 x Dining Room. Separate downstairs private. It also offered 1 x Carport.

Waboom Complex offers a lovely Pool as well as a beautiful garden. You will never feel bored during weekends, holidays or after hours. The townhouse offers excellent security.

Pierre van Ryneveld Park is a suburb of Centurion in Gauteng Province, South Africa. It is named after Sir Pierre van Ryneveld. It is bisected by the N1 freeway and is bordered by Pretoria’s South Eastern suburbs Waterkloof Ridge, Elardus Park and Monument Park.

I had to google around on the internet to get to understand better about Centurion and this is what I found. Which is one of the largest shopping centres in South Africa with over 200 stores and restaurants. The main advantage of staying in Centurion is the ease of access to major roadways linking it to Johannesburg, Midrand, Krugersdorp, Pretoria and Oliver Thambo International airport.

Centurion (previously known as Verwoerdburg and before that Lyttelton) is an area with 236,580 (2011 Census) inhabitants in the Gauteng Province of South Africa, between Pretoria and Midrand (Johannesburg). Formerly an independent municipality, with its own town council. It has formed part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality since 2000. Its heart is at the intersection of the N1 and N14 freeways. The R21 also passes through Centurion.

This made my understanding better and my choice very easier. This townhouse was perfectly suitable for me and my little girl.
