I visited my friend who was staying at Langsaan 30 who was renting a beautiful fully furnished self-catering 2-bedroom townhouse, situated in Garsfontein, Pretoria East. He was only staying there for three months and its been long we have met since he was now based in North Korea, so he travelled with his family for holiday.

Garsfontein is a tranquil, booming suburb in Pretoria which is conveniently close to all amenities. As well as, one of the largest shopping malls in Pretoria. Garsfontein is a suburb of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. It is a well-developed area, lying to the far east of the city centre. I had a chance to tour around Garsfontein.

They were staying at Langsaan 30 which is a beautiful two-bedroom townhouse. This fully furnished unit is situated in the well organised Garsfontein. Looking around the townhouse is very modern with one bathroom an open plan living room. A kitchen with modern fitted cupboards, as well as, a loft. This furnished townhouse is very airy and open. Includes sliding doors leading in a well-maintained closed garden,as well as, a private braai/barbeque area. The house is set within charming walled garden which offer good privacy. It also has one lock-up garage and a long driveway ensures more than ample parking space for all your vehicles, as well as visitors, inside the property.

It has ample space and is located in a security complex with security working 24 hours controlling every ingoing and outgoing vehicles and people as well a 24hour patrol control with ADT making it a safe area for both the residents and visitors. This is a crime free area.

Situated in Garsfontein East of the city centre of Pretoria in the leafy neighbourhood. Close to major highways and only 3 kilometres from Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. One of the largest shopping centres in Pretoria. We drove around Garsfontein with the whole family and it is situated near churches, excellent English and Afrikaans schools, filling stations, SAPS and private hospitals. Ten minutes’ drive to Laerskool Garsfontein, 0.5km from Garsfontein High School, 0.8km from Ntsako Secondary School, 1.7km from MediCross Entertainment facilities are also close by. Access to the N4 and N1 is effortless. Woodhill Golf Estate, an 18-hole championship course designed by Peter Matkovich.

I have seen that it provides a distinct and challenging golfer’s game, situated in Garsfontein. Garsfontein, a relatively new suburb by comparison with those more sedate suburbs that line the centre of the city. Houses here are large, and their gardens green and cultivated. The neighbourhood has a propensity for townhouses and cluster developments due to the recent boom.

If you’re after a little piece of green, the 3000-hectare Rietvlei Nature Reserve lies within easy distance of Garsfontein.

A happy place to make lasting memories located in a quiet suburb. Easy main route access and very centrally located. This safe complex offers wide open spaces, as well as, a tranquil environment for any family who wants to live their life.
