I have been staying in Centurion for over 10years of my life. It is commonly known for its mall which is one of the largest shopping centres in South Africa with over 200 stores and restaurants. The main advantage of staying in Centurion is the ease of access to major roadways linking it to Johannesburg, Midrand, Krugersdorp, Pretoria and Oliver Thambo International airport. Since I bought my house in 2007 in Rooihuiskraal it was high time I thought of renovating it.

The first thing that came in to my mind is my 6year old son who is allergic to dust. Having in mind the fact that my son was attending school at Laerskool Uitsig for his first year in primary there was no reason for me to transfer him but rather live close to his school and my husband was an assistant manager in Woolworths food and clothing at Blue Valley Mall Shopping centre.

Since I was a fulltime domestic wife, I had plenty time to google around. All close by fully furnished apartments where I can stay with my family for two months. I came across an advert on Gumtree of this fully furnished beautiful 2-bedroom apartment that was to let in Barcelona complex in The Reeds. It is located 2,6kilometres from where I stay using Uitsig road or M31.

I viewed the place and at the entrance there is an access gate. Very welcoming security guards operating movement 247. There is also electric fence which is one of the security measures I fell in love with. Entering it the complex I noticed that is a very quiet and peaceful complex. I reached to the apartment that I saw on the internet which is Barcelona 130 and looked more beautiful as it is on the website.

This immaculate apartment has fully furnished bedrooms and built in cupboards. I just had to carry my clothes and pack them neatly in the cupboards. It has a big patio where we could sit and relax enjoying the breeze. The lounge and have a family tv room and beautiful couches with my favourite colours grey and red. The kitchen is very neat and equipped with beautiful modern cupboards. One full bathroom with a bath and a shower. The unit has also one lock up garage.

I fell in love with the place that we had to move in beginning of October until beginning of December. I could still visit my place to monitor progress and still visit to nearby malls like View@Reeds and Mall at Reeds. Blue valley Medical centre remained the hospital we would visit, and my son continued at his same school. My husband also would drive to his workplace via Bothrill Avenue which was 1,1 kilometres.

I really had a great stay at this unit, and I love the quiet complex. The complex is easily accessible and close to major amenities.
