Our main company offices are located in Moreleta Park, Pretoria East. I was working as a manager at a branch in Bloemfontein. We were called for a quick meeting in Pretoria which turned out to stretch long. My company had to look for a lengthy lease agreement of a furnished apartment in Moreleta Park to extend our stay.

In most cases furnished apartment saves money by not having to buy stuff to fill up your new pad with. Feel-at-Home provided us with a fully furnished apartment close to our branch offices in Malibu Gardens. it is spacious one bedroom and one bathroom. Lovely kitchen with a big open plan living as well as dining room.

Moreleta Park is a suburb of Tshwane, South Africa, situated 12 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of the city centre. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 27,539. Moreleta Park is a suburban area with the majority of people commuting to work elsewhere; e.g. Johannesburg. It has a broad mixture of properties including office parks, retail shopping centres, hospitals, churches, upmarket single stand housing as well as gated security complexes. Typically smaller and higher density residential units built within an outer wall that forms a security barrier.

I had an opportunity to visit The Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve. It contains African wildlife; zebras, springbok as well as other small antelope and ostriches may be observed. Entrance is free of charge and it is the best place for Sunday Morning Walk. Other activities found near Malibu Gardens 11 are bird watching,  cycling and game drives.

Sometimes I would come from work very tired of cooking. There are lots of excellent food restaurants with friendly service and a lovely atmosphere and sometimes a live band. Malibu Gardens 11 is situated close to lots of food and entertainment such as; House of Coffees, Die Bos, Hollow Tree, Kaffeestuble, Nando’s, Zooe. Salt ‘n Vinegar, burger bar, Maxis, Roman’s, Col’Cacchio, Ed’s, Raphsody’s, Matsuya, Wimpy, The Bread Basket, House of Coffees, Steers, Galito’s, Xing Wah and Scooters.

I also visited the close hospitals to Malibu  Gardens 11. Pretoria East Hospital that is 1.06km from where I was staying and Clicks that is 1.31km from my apartment.

 The suburb has well-appointed homes and modern gated communities. It is ideally located close to Woodlands Mall, Parkview Shopping Centre as well as a short drive to Menlyn. It is roughly 40 km from O.R. Tambo International Airport.

I wish my company would extend my stay. There are lots of things to do in Moreleta Park especially during weekends and off days. I also loved the friendly expert team working at Feel-at-Home Properties.  Provided me with the best services you can ever dream of in a home. The trip was worth it.
